Warsaw Fire Department was called to a report of a fire located off of Anchorage Road in Shamrock Mobile Home Park Lot 6.
According to Warsaw Fire Department, a neighbor noted smoke billowing from the residence and called 911. Upon arrival, emergency personnel found the building to be fully engulfed and Winona Lake was called for a full assist.
Though no humans were injured in the fire, two dogs and a cat perished in the blaze. The home was unoccupied by it’s tenants at the time, who are now displaced as a result of the fire and are being assisted by the American Redcross.
Firefighters were unable to release the names of those affected by today’s fire or the cause of the blaze but state it remains under investigation. The building has been deemed a complete loss with damages estimated at $50,000
Warsaw Police Department assisted at the scene and Multi-Township EMS was on standby.
