Plain Township Fire Department called for a full assist from Warsaw, Milford, North Webster and Pierceton Fire Departments.
The small home is a total loss according to Plain Township Fire Cheif Jared Haughee.
“The property was occupied by two adults and several children,” said Haughee. They were not home at the time of the fire, he said.
No injuries were reported.
Haughee said the suspected cause of the fire was electrical, but that is still under investigation.
According to the Beacon system, the property belongs to Spencer K. Davis of Leesburg.
