Crews work to clean up debris at the scene of an accident on U.S. 30 in Warsaw Wednesday, Feb. 28.
WARSAW — An accident involving at least three vehicles occurred shortly after noon today, Feb. 28, at the intersection of Center Street and Lake City Highway. The accident occurred in the left turn lanes of U.S. 30 westbound at Center Street.
The accident occurred between a gold grand Caravan, a white Nissan Rogue and a black pick-up truck. Extrication was necessary to remove one of the occupants from the black pick-up.
Three people were transported with injuries from the accident. Units responding included Warsaw-Wayne Fire Department, Lutheran EMS and officers from the Warsaw Police Department.
Traffic was rerouted from the area as the accident was cleaned up.
