WARSAW — The Warsaw Fire Department is celebrating the career of firefighter Jeff “Robo” Rostochak, who retires later this month.
Friends, family and fellow firefighters gathered Friday afternoon, July 24, at the fire station on Center Street to visit, reminisce and enjoy a slice of cake in Rostochak’s honor.
“He’s been an asset to the department,” Fire Chief Mike Brubaker said. “He’s one of those guys who quietly does his job and does it very well and he’ll be missed.”
Rostochak’s last official day with the department is next Thursday, July 30.
