Warsaw Community Schools announced that students from Edgewood Middle School were relocated this morning to Warsaw Community High School after a fire alarm sounded. Students were relocated to the high school following emergency protocol and to avoid students exposed to extreme temperatures. Warsaw Fire Department determined that the alarm was a result of a faulty sensor. Students were then bussed back to Edgewood Middle School.
Earlier this morning in an unrelated event, Warsaw Fire Department was called to Edgewood Middle School faculty parking lot where a car was reportedly on fire. Warsaw Fire Department had the situation under control and student drop-off was not affected. Again, these two events were not related in any way.
