Sunday  evening, an investigation led Warsaw Police narcotics officers to perform surveillance on a residence on Chapman Lake Drive north east of Warsaw. The drug investigation found that the subject of the investigation, Joshua Golden, had a class A felony warrant for dealing in a schedule I, II, or III controlled substance.

Early this morning, narcotics officers observed Golden leave the residence and performed a traffic stop on Golden’s vehicle. After initially stopping, Golden fled in the vehicle and led police on a pursuit. The pursuit eventually traveled south on SR 15 where Stop Sticks were used to flatten the tires of the vehicle.

The vehicle continued southbound into Warsaw and finally stopped in the 600 block of South Detroit Street, where the vehicle rolled into the building at Warsaw Machinery, as Golden jumped from the vehicle and fled on foot.

Golden was taken into custody with the assistance of a Warsaw Police K9 in the 1000 block of County Club Road. In the vehicle, police located four one-pot meth labs, finished meth and multiple precursors to the manufacture of meth.

Warsaw Police and Indiana State Police meth clean-up teams responded to remove the labs and dangerous chemicals from the vehicle.

Along with the warrant, Golden was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail on a level 2 felony charge of dealing methamphetamine, felony conspiracy to deal precursors, felony possession of precursors and felony resisting/fleeing law enforcement. He is being held with no bond.
